Fossils

 

Wood Mosaic: The process includes cutting hundreds of pieces of maple and oak veneer wood, hand painting with an oil paint stain and/or acrylic paint, then reassembling them, very much like a puzzle. Finished with a gray colored grout and three coats of a satin finish varnish.
